One Year Old, Let's Party

Ok, so my son is only 9 months old. But I have heard about Moms that are already planning an elaborate first birthday and sending save the date cards. Is this how 1st birthdays are done? What happened to close family, friends and a messy child with cake?

    Oh my gosh! Who are the mommy's you have been talking to? This is crazy! We had all our family and friends over, but it isn't like they have a lot of kiddo's to invite. I say save the money and throw it in the Disneyworld fun!

    Thank you for your comment. I agree, it is crazy. I do not have a plan yet but it will be a low key affair and no "save the date". I like your idea about saving the money and going to Disneyworld!
